Umé is very one of a kind. Floral incense with a heavy plum note. There is a fine balance between the flowers that aren't too sweet or heavy, a dark incense that can border on too heavy at moments, of resiny depth, the smell of floral juicy plum balancing out the smoky element to keep the whole thing soft...and that "almond" note is what keeps the whole composition from feeling overly dry or dark or thick. Keiko Mecheri perfumes all have some powderiness to them, and I love them all in their own ways. This is too dark for me at times, but this is just beautiful, no other smell-alike out there. I could say the same for most Mecheri creations I have tried.

Kinda reminds me of that 'old lady scent'. Not a fan.

Lovely soft scent with a deep plum note. Not too heavy or sweet, great for afternoon or evening wear.

This is pretty, but I was hoping it would be heavy on the plum. On my skin, I'm getting mostly light florals and some green notes. I can sense some other notes peeking out a bit, but they are more subtle. I think it's very pretty, but it just doesn't have the fruity note that I had hoped for. I think it will probably grow on me, and I'm very happy that the floral notes are lighter, so they don't bother my allergies.
